Not all bed linen is created equal, especially if you’ve been waking up in the morning and have started noticing a few fine lines and wrinkles that weren’t there when you tucked yourself in the night before.
While cotton sheets may seem relatively innocuous, they could actually be contributing to the lines on your skin, as well as giving you a bit of bed head each morning – but you can easily counteract these effects if you invest in pillowcases and sheets made of divine mulberry silk.
This is the highest quality silk you can find on the market, originating from China where the leaves from mulberry trees were harvested for silkworms to munch on and make cocoons which, in turn were then spun into the raw silk fibres needed to make delightfully soft and luxurious fabric.
The resulting silk is incredibly refined and pure white in colour, 100 per cent natural, hypoallergenic and odourless, with a natural protein contained within that reduces the chances of allergic reaction… so perfect if you have very sensitive skin.
Sleeping on silk is one of the best ways to ensure you get your beauty rest and you can take it one step further by investing in a silk eye mask to really help ensure that you wake up each morning revitalised and refreshed.
To care for your new investments, make sure that you hand wash the fabric in lukewarm water using a silk washing agent. These are easy to find but if you’re unsure, always check the label and make sure that there are no enzymes or bleach included in the product.
